Bioceptive is developing a patent-pending intrauterine device (IUD) inserter that vastly simplifies the insertion procedure while significantly reducing the complications inherent with current insertion techniques.Bioceptive was recently awarded a grant from the Saving Lives at Birth program to develop a version of the IUD inserter for user in developing countries.
